The Journey Begins

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and professional genealogist! I am the wife of Rick, my very active mountain biker husband. I am the mother of Andrea and Heather and step-mother to Chris, Maria, Robert, and Amy. Rick and I have four grandchildren, three boys (Luke, Casey, and Keegan) and one granddaughter (Faith)--no great grandchildren at this time, but there is hope. Completing our family is our precious almost 11-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever, McKenzie "Kenzie," who is our fourth Golden Retriever. In addition, we have grand dogs (Luna, Tio, Dion, Grimsby) and one grand cat (Val). During holiday visits, our houses are full of animals and happy sounds of our grown kids. Rick, my husband of 32 years, retired from his internal medicine practice 10 years ago after practicing for 44 years. Since then, we take advantage of our love of travel--road trips to visit our kids and siblings and to Europe to cruise the beautiful rivers. We also enjoy ballroom dancing, biking, and plain ole being together. Sometimes when we travel, we stop in our family history counties and countries to do research and explore the cemeteries and surrounding areas. View all posts by AncesTree by Grace
